For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Global Care helps those affected by natural disasters
After the devastation caused by cyclone Debbie, extensive Disaster Relief work was carried out across the Queensland and New South Wales coastal regions Hundreds of volunteers spent several weeks working in the flood-effected areas to clean up properties, feed locals and volunteers, and assist in every way possible.
Global Care understands the immense loss and devastation that people feel following a natural disaster, which is why we help in disaster zones by lending a hand and offering hope. Whether it's providing emergency accommodation, food, furniture and basic hygiene packs; or clearing mud, cleaning walls and removing rubbish; or being a listening ear and offering support, Global Care works to rebuild lives.
Our volunteers receive training and safety briefings, prior to working for Global Care, and undergo the government required checks. They often travel interstate to help in disaster zones, and usually take annual leave from their jobs, to help those affected.

How do I volunteer?
Please see our pastoral staff for further needs. We always could use another hand.
How do I volunteer with kids?
We currently need background checked and approved volunteers for our children's ministry and more. It is required that all children volunteers have a current Blue Card (https://www.qld.gov.au/law/laws-regulated-industries-and-accountability/queensland-laws-and-regulations/regulated-industries-and-licensing/blue-card/applications) and proceed with Safe Church training after being approved by our staff.
How do I volunteer with music?
Are you looking to add your gift to our worship team? We kindly ask you to enquire with our worship director (Ps. Michael Forman) who will contact you for further information. Becoming part of our music team varies from singing, instruments, sound desk and more. We would love to speak with you further.
How do I volunteer with students?
As with our kids, to work further with students and young adults you will need to have a current Blue Card and Safe Church training. See our pastoral staff or Ronin Correia for more information.
